How & Where To Get Your
License
in Oregon or Washington:
Don't forget to get your Marriage License at least 3 day before the ceremony! This is obtained from the county clerk in any county of Oregon and is good for 60 days. There is a 3 day waiting period before you can be married, unless you pay a deferral fee. Check with your county clerk for your license fees, they are usually about $60.00. A deferral fee is extra.
You don't have to be married in the County where you get your License, but you do have to be married in the State issued for it to be effective
